Classical Duo "Dolce"
 Overview
Dolce Duo combines the beautiful and rich timbres of the cello and
viola in repertoire ranging from classical music through to jazz and
folk music. The result is a sound that is described as warm, elegant and
– appropriately - “Dolce”, Italian for sweet.

features a repertoire list and audio samples of the Duo’s most popular
repertoire for weddings, along with helpful suggestions of what pieces
of music work well for the processional, signing of the register and
recessional.
Cellist Bernadette Peters and violist Katherine Corecig met at the
School of Music at UWA and have since played together as the Dolce Duo
and as part of several Western Australian classical music ensembles,
including the Juniper Chamber Orchestra.
Both Bernadette and Katherine hold Bachelor of Music degrees majoring
in performance, at UWA and WA Academy of Performing Arts respectively,
with Bernadette completing her degree with Honours. Katherine and
Bernadette are both actively involved in chamber music groups in Perth,
and Katherine plays as a casual violist with the West Australian
Symphony Orchestra.
In addition to performing at weddings and other functions regularly,
Dolce have recently performed as part of the City of Subiaco’s Sunday @
Subi, the City of Joondalup’s Sunday Serenades and the City of Perth's
Sunday in the City series.
