I finally recieved my professional photos back and want to send these all my guests who sent us a present a copy as their thank you gift, has anyone done this and did you just use the normal cd/dvd covers ... any ideas would be appreciated

at the moment my idea is to get the black overs, have our message printed on nice silver card and to stick this in the cover

Haven't done this but have received it as a guest at another wedding. It was nice to see them all but we didn't get any printed. And I guess we'll keep the cd but may not look at it again.
Maybe not worth all the effort? You can email a few low res files for nothing. Or just do it for immediate relatives.

I'm not sure if the guests would actually look at it would they? I don't mean that meanly or anything! But wedding photos are only interesting enough to look at again and again for the actual bridal party. I know I wouldn't be interested in seeing photos of someone else's wedding all the time.
I hope you understand what I mean, I'm not trying to be rude! Like koke said above, perhaps just for your immediate family?

thanks ladies, the only reason we are doing this is that 90% of our 120 guest flew in from overseas for the wedding and apart from a few pics of bridal party and me/ hubby pics we specifically had the rest of the pics where we took pictures of us and guests in groups, families so there are actually quite a lot of pictures with the guests, we did this as we didnt want all of our photos just of us and a lot of the guests are really close friends of hubbies family they are all basicall family, LOL and they all come from a very small town. I have been able with the help of the guys at dick smith to work out how to do this, got the dvd's yesterday for $30 for 100, small thank you cards $20 so going to burn them all this weekend, write up the cards and get them mailed. We figure this way guests can print the pictures they want, if they want to

Oh well that sounds quite good then. Completely different to what I was thinking. Good luck with burning them all! Smile
